Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo-The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

This is a movie about a girl called Makoto who can travel through time.The first time is when she is hit by a train and she leaps back and doesnt have the accident because she walks to school instead.She uses this to do silly things like making sure that Chiaki doesnt tell her he loves her and that her other friend gets a girlfriend.She travels back different amounts of time and changes all sorts of things which then cause other people to suffer instead of her e.g when she sets fire to something in cooking class and she goes back to change it and then another boy is bullied because of it.

Mokoto niotices that there is a mark on her arm counting down the number of leaps that she can make but she still wastes them.She finds out that Kousuke took her bike which was the cause of her death at the start of the movie.She trys to find him to stop the accident but then thinks that he isnt going to come and the accident wont happen.Then she talks to Chiaki and he asks if can time leap and she then leaps again to make sure Chiaki doesnt say this to her.Kousuke and his girlfriend die in the accident and there is nothing that she can do so Chiaki has to go back and change it.

Chiaki tells her he is from the future and that she took his device which can time leap and wasted all the charge so that he cant get home anymore.He tells her all about himself and time leaping which he is forbidden to do and that he will have to go.She manages to time leap one last time and says a proper goodbye to him before he leaves to go home.

This is a great movie.The attention to detail is amazing and even the minor characters are believable.It is fun to watch and i will enjoy watching it again ;) I really hope that this will be licenced soon! This is now my favourite anime movie along with End of Evangelion ;) 10/10

I now own both the german dvd and the Uk release from HMV with a disc of extras ;)
